Feet in Salah   Popular
Read now books.themajlis.net
Description : In this fourteenth century of the Islamic era, a recently mushroomed sect known as the Salafis, has invented some new rules which they believe are the Sunnat teachings of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Inspite of their views being in conflict with the teachings of the Salf-e-Saaliheen belonging to the Noblest Ages of Islam (Khairul Quroon), they obstinately cling to their misguided opinions. Their method is to subject the Ahadith to their personal understanding. Inspite of the divergence which this self-opinion produces from the Way of the Ummah inherited from the Sahaabah, the Salafis intransigently cling to their deviation. A little reflection would convince them that it is not possible that the Aimmah-e-Mujtahideen who were the Students of the Sahaabah would propagate acts which are in conflict with the Sunnah. Any act which has been accepted and practised by the entire Ummah from the earliest era of Islam cannot be deviation. Deviation will be the act which is in conflict with this sacred Unanimity.

Kittaabul Hajj   Popular
Read now books.themajlis.net
Description : There are many books, elaborate as well as concise, on the subject of Hajj, Masha-Allah! Some of these books are in great detail covering all questions and aspects pertaining to Hajj. However, some friends have requested for a book of average degree on the subject of Hajj- a book which is neither too detailed nor too brief- so that the masa-il could be easily learnt and remembered. Thus, this booklet is the consequence of this request and wish of friends. While it has been endeavoured to refrain from excessive detail which makes remembering difficult, the brevity of the booklet is not such which, excludes even the details which occur in abundance. May, Allah Ta'ala in His Infinite Grace and Kindness accept, this humble effort and may He confirm it a benefit for the Ummah, Ameen thumma Ameen. MOHAMMED MASIHULLAH KHAN (Rahmatallah alayh)

Kittabus Saum   Popular

Description : "O People of Imaan! Siyâm (fasting) has been ordained for you just as It was ordained for those before you so that you attain taqwa"! [Qur'an] Siyam is among the fundamental acts of Ibadat. It has been ordained by Allah Ta'ala for the development of taqwa (piety) in the Mu'mineen. Fasting is extremely efficacious for the acquisition of taqwa. A Muslim cannot acquire Divine Proximity without taqwa. Without taqwa, the Muslim must necessarily drift far off the straight Path (Seeratul Mustaqeem) which leads to Allah Ta'ala and everlasting success in the Akhirah. One who denies the fardhiyat (obligation) of Saum, no longer remains a Muslim and the one who does not fast during the month of Ramadhan is a Fassiq (an immoral and flagrant transgressor) of the highest order. Such a Fassiq totally destroys his spirituality and morality and exposes his Imân to the gravest onslaughts of kufr. There are numerous benefits, both spiritual and physical, of fasting. The prime benefit in the pursuit of taqwa is the suppression of the inordinate desires and demands of nafs-e-ammarah (man's base carnal propensity).

Masah alal Khuffain   Popular
Read now books.themajlis.net
Description : Masah alal Khuffain is an act of ibaadat ordered by the Shariah. Just as all acts of ibaadat have their requisite conditions (Shuroot) for their validity, so too does Masah alal Khuffain have Shar'i conditions for its validity. An ibaadat is not valid if its conditions are not observed. Masah means to wipe or rub. Khuffain are a special kind of socks made of leather. The act of lightly wiping the wet hand over the khuffain is called Masah. Ghair Muqallideen (those who have renounced the Taqleed of the Four Math-habs of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah) among whom is the sect known as Salafis, have completely distorted the Shariah's Ahkaam (rules) pertaining to this ibaadat. Notorious for their taqleed (blind following) of their desires, these Ghair Muqallideen have discarded the Shuroot which are necessary for the validity of Masah. They therefore claim that masah on ordinary conventional cotton, woollen and nylon socks is valid.

Moulood and the Shariah   Popular

Description : IBAADAT (WORSHIP) IN ISLAM is restricted to only ritual acts, practices and customs of worship which were taught by Rasulullah ( saws ) and practised by his noble Companions and the illustrious personalities of Islam in the initial three eras of Islam known as Khairul Quroon (Noblest Ages). Irrespective of the appeal and beauty any act/practice of apparent worship may possess, it will not be Ibaadat in Islam if it has no basis in the Sunnah of Rasulullah ( saws) – and the concept of the Sunnah is what was known, understood, practised and propagated by the Sahaabah, Taabieen and Tab-e-Taabieen in the period known as Khairul Quroon. Thus, if anyone insists on performing Salaat at sunrise, midday (Zawwaal) and sunset, it will not be said that such performance is Salaat. It will be a haraam bid’ah (innovation) notwithstanding its external form of Salaat. If someone fasts on the Days of Eid, such fasting will not be Ibaadat, but will be haraam bid’ah, the consequence of which is nothing but the Fire of Jahannum. Since these acts which are in conflict with the teachings of Rasulullah ( saws), they will not be classified as Ibaadat notwithstanding their external forms of worship. If someone performs four raka’ts ‘Fardh’ for Fajr instead of the commanded two raka’ts, such performance will not be Ibaadat irrespective of the beauty of the external form of the act. It will be a haraam bid’ah.
